  Une nouveauté pour l’édition 2013 de la semaine du Golfe du Morbihan : la petite parade d’ouverture !

  For the first time this year there was an opening parade for the Semaine du Golfe du Morbihan on the Monday. A super show on a day with wonderful weather.

  La semaine s’achevait comme tous les ans avec la grande parade. J’étais à bord d’Iris, un haranguier venu des Pays Bas.

  As always there was a closing parade on Saturday which was also a fine spectacle with a fair amount of wind and sunshine. I was aboard the Dutch herring trawler Iris.

  Cette année les bateaux spectateurs  étaient restreints aux zones designées, ainsi il y avait un peu moins de stress que lors des autres éditions pour les capitaines à la barre de leur navire .

   This year, contrary to other years, the spectator boats were marshalled into specific areas making for a somewhat less stressful parade for the captains helming their craft through the tidal currents of the gulf.
